# Suggestions

> When Abbie proactively raises an idea, and how she avoids repeating herself.

Beyond check-ins and follow-ups, Abbie can occasionally message you with a suggestion: an idea she's spotted that might be worth doing, based on what she knows about you and your account.

Suggestions are deliberately restrained:

* At most once a week.
* Only while you've been recently active; she won't surface a suggestion to someone who's gone quiet.
* Never alongside a check-in in the same pass, so you're not getting two proactive messages at once.
* She won't repeat a suggestion she's already made, even if it comes back to mind later.
