# Organisation profile

> The structured facts about your business that Abbie carries into every conversation, for everyone on the account

The **Profile** tab holds structured facts about your organisation. Unlike
[Rapport](/abbie/teaching/rapport), which is about *how* Abbie talks, the profile is about *what
she knows* — and it is folded into every account member's conversations, not just yours.

<Note>
  The organisation profile is **admin-managed**. Anyone can read it, so you can see what Abbie has
  been told about the business, but only an account admin can change it.
</Note>

## What it holds

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Identity" icon="id-card">
    * **Legal name** and any **trading names**
    * **What we do** — a plain-English description of the business
    * **Industry**
    * **Regulator / licence reference**
    * **Size** — staff and revenue
    * **Locations**
    * **Financial year end**
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How we work" icon="gears">
    * **Systems of record** — the tools that hold the authoritative version of things
    * **Glossary** — your internal terms and acronyms, so Abbie uses them the way you do rather
      than guessing at an expansion
    * **Working hours** and **timezone**
    * **House style** — how written output should be formatted and worded for this account
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Constraints" icon="shield-halved">
    * **Always** — things Abbie should do every time
    * **Never** — things she must not do
    * **Data handling** — disclosure and data rules she has to respect
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Why the glossary matters most

Of everything here, the glossary and the systems-of-record list change Abbie's answers the most.
An acronym that means one thing in your business and something else everywhere else is exactly the
kind of thing she will otherwise get confidently wrong. The same goes for "the numbers" — knowing
which system is authoritative is what stops her quoting whichever one she found first.

<Tip>
  This is the right home for anything specific to your industry or your customers. Keeping it here,
  rather than repeating it in individual prompts or skills, means one edit updates it for everyone.
</Tip>

## Suggestions from Abbie

Abbie proposes additions to the profile as she learns them — a term she has seen used
consistently, a system she keeps being pointed at. These land in a **Suggested by Abbie** queue
rather than being applied.

An account admin approves or dismisses each one. Everyone else can see what has been proposed but
cannot action it. The settings navigation carries a badge while anything is pending.
